Danielle has a deep respect for the body's innate intelligence and its ability to repair and balance. Her mission is to help clients rediscover their own ability to access a relaxed physical and mental state where there is greater potential for health, growth and restoration.
Graduating as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (BCST) in 2009, Danielle has also trained as a Wellness Coach and Chi Kung (Qi Gong) Instructor. She has worked with thousands of clients using these tools both in New Zealand and in Australia.
For anyone not familiar with Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, it is often described as a gentle and holistic approach to health that supports lasting change. It has its roots in Osteopathic understandings and has evolved to become a very gentle hands on therapy. At its core it acknowledges that the human organism is multi-faceted; and accordingly, the therapy does not separate mind, body, energy or emotions.
Danielle's work is influenced by studies in Poly Vagal Theory and Heart Math which provide an understanding of how to work directly with the central nervous system. She uses this research based knowledge to assist clients to improve their ability to regulate the stress response (which affects all areas of well-being).
Danielle sees her skills and tools as an antidote to our fast paced and sometimes overwhelming lives. With over 30 years of meditation experience, Danielle offers a calm, centred presence and the ability to listen profoundly and intuitively to mind, body and spirit.
As well as BCST, Danielle offers both Chi Kung classes and private sessions.
“We all crave that feeling of being safely held, fully seen and acknowledged. To witness the changes that take place when this is offered is a privilege. It continues to amaze me that there is so much power in simply holding another human and offering the opportunity to connect to and rest in stillness. It is profound.”
